The Department of Endodontics at School & Hospital of Stomatology WMU, is a professional clinical department specialized in the medical treatment, teaching and scientific research on Endodontic diseases in southern Zhejiang province. It is equipped with 36 modern dental comprehensive units, which are distributed at Longwan Headquarters, Xueyuan Road Branch, Guangchang Road Branch and the other three branches. Currently, among the 36 faculty in the department, 4 members have doctor's degrees and 25 have master's degrees.

In recent years, in order to meet the demand of various patients, the department introduces a large number of advanced instruments and equipments, such as ROOT ZX root canal length locating instrument made in Japan, X-SMART-plus root canal motor made in Germany, Meta warm gutta-percha root canal filling system made in Korea, P5 ultrasonic root canal therapy instrument and LEICA dental microscope made in Germany, etc., carrying out rotary nickel-titanium three-dimensional root canal preparation, warm gutta-percha three-dimensional root canal obturation, ultrasonic root canal preparation, micro-apical surgery and other up-to-date techniques.

The Department of Endodontics possesses a well-qualified Endodontists and nursing team, applying comprehensive four-hand operation techniques which provides patients with a comfortable treatment experience by skilled medical-nursing combined collaboration.
