Overview of Education 

School of Stomatology Wenzhou Medical University was established in 2002, is one of first colleges in China to pass the undergraduate professional certification of the Ministry of Education. In accordance with the national standards of stomatology education, the school upholds the fine traditions and schooling advantages of Wenzhou Medical University, follows the spirit of the hospital motto of "Behave Honorably，Practice Earnestly，Study Extensively，Explore Dauntlessly", and learns from the internationally accepted training model to cultivate talents with excellent capability in oral disease diagnosis and treatment, and experts with a broad international perspective.

Stomatology is the first-class undergraduate major in Zhejiang Province, the dominant major in the 13th Five-Year Plan, and the emerging characteristic (international) major in the 12th Five-Year Plan. Five-year undergraduates began to be enrolled in 2000, and BDS international students began to be enrolled in 2007. At present, there are nearly 300 undergraduates and more than 80 BDS students in school. Over the years, the passing rate of graduates participating in the national dental practitioner examination is among the top 10% in China.
