From July 22 to 24, 2022, the 2022 Working Conference and 2022 Annual Academic Conference of Stomatological Hospital Branch of Chinese Hospital Association was solemnly held in Wenzhou. The conference was hosted by Stomatological Hospital Branch of Chinese Hospital Association and undertaken by Stomatological Hospital Affiliated to the School of Stomatology, Wenzhou Medical University.

More than 160 experts, scholars and industry celebrities in the field of stomatology management came from 110 stomatology colleges and medical institutions in 25 provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government. They held thematic discussions on hot issues such as "medical development under the 'Internet +' economy, information construction of medical institutions, medical quality management and construction of high-quality operation management system".

Liu Fudong, deputy secretary-general of China Hospital Association, pointed out in his speech that in recent years, China Hospital Association has promoted and publicized national policies through a series of activities, and fulfilled its main responsibilities of promoting norms, strengthening services and grasping implementation. Oral health has been identified as one of the ten standards of human health by the World Health Organization, which is an important indicator reflecting the economic and social development and health care level of a country. "Healthy China 2030 Plan Outline" clearly states that oral health work should be strengthened and the "National healthy lifestyle action" promoted. We hope that our dental Hospital branch can play a leading role, and help the high quality development of stomatological hospitals in China.

Professor Guo Chuanbin, chairman of the Stomatological Hospital Branch of the Chinese Hospital Association and president of the Peking University Stomatological Hospital, delivered a speech. He said that since the re-election of the Stomatological Hospital Branch of the Chinese Hospital Association in 2020, all members have worked together to gather strength from all aspects of the national dental medical institutions and improve oral medical institutions. To improve the management level, promote the reform and development of oral medical institutions, and strive to become a window for the exchange of oral characteristic management experience, a platform for dental hospital management personnel training, and a consulting agency for oral medical reform and governance, and to provide high quality services for people's oral health and socialist modernization. He sincerely thanked Wenzhou Medical University for its efforts in all aspects of hosting the conference, which ensured the smooth holding of the annual conference.

Wu Shangbin, deputy director of the Wenzhou Municipal Health and Wellness Committee, said that Wenzhou is rich in health care resources and is in the position of a regional health care sub-center in Zhejiang Province. The Stomatological Hospital Branch of China Hospital Association held an annual academic meeting in the Stomatological College and School & hospital of stomatology, Wenzhou Medical University, which will strengthen the academic exchange and discussion of advanced management concepts between Wenzhou and top domestic stomatological colleges and medical institutions, and further help Wenzhou to build a regional stomatological medical center in southern Zhejiang. It is hoped that Wenzhou University of Stomatology can take this meeting as an opportunity to improve the ability of oral medical service and promote the development of oral health in Wenzhou.

Professor Ma Jianfeng, secretary of the Party Committee of School & hospital of stomatology, Wenzhou Medical University, gave a welcome speech and extended a warm welcome to all the experts and scholars who have come from afar. He said that this annual meeting will share academic frontier achievements, pass on the latest subject knowledge and collide with the most valuable sparks of wisdom. The conference was hosted by Wenzhou Medical University Stomatology, which is the full trust and affirmation of the organizer, Stomatological Hospital Branch of China Hospital Association. On the afternoon of July 22nd, Stomatological Hospital Branch of China Hospital Association held the 5th meeting of the 5th Standing Committee and the 3rd meeting of all members of the 5th Committee. Professor Pan Yihuai, Dean of School & hospital of stomatology, Wenzhou Medical University, gave a report on the preparations for this annual meeting, introduced all the preparations made by Stomatology Department of Wenzhou Medical University for this meeting, and explained in detail the measures taken to ensure the travel safety of participating experts and scholars under the background of epidemic prevention and control.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, representatives of middle-level cadres from School & hospital of stomatology, Wenzhou Medical University presented the 2022 academic annual meeting of Stomatological Hospital Branch of China Hospital Association, performed a poem recitation program "Stomatology 20th Anniversary, eulogizing white teeth", reported the 20-year development of the college and hospital to the participating experts and scholars, and wished the conference a complete success.

The meeting set up two sub-forums, namely, "continuously improving the quality management level of oral medical care" and "strengthening the construction of high-quality operation management system of oral medical institutions". All the participating experts had a heated discussion around the above topics and sought common development of oral health.

The member units of the Stomatological Hospital Branch of China Hospital Association cover 31 provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government, covering 107 universities and public hospitals, 33 enterprises and private hospitals. They are committed to promoting the exchange of stomatological institutions, formulating relevant norms and systems, giving full play to the influence of the stomatological industry, providing a more comprehensive and scientific basis for government decision-making, and promoting the high-quality development of stomatological hospitals nationwide.

This annual meeting is the largest academic conference on stomatology held in Wenzhou in recent years, bringing together the top stomatological colleges and industry elites in China to have a discussion. As the organizer of the conference, School & hospital of stomatology, Wenzhou Medical University also showed the development achievements of Wenzhou's oral hygiene to the national counterparts, enhanced communication with famous universities and medical institutions in China, and contributed to the construction of "Healthy China".
