Recently, the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Finance announced the third batch of standardized training bases for resident doctors, among which our hospital was ranked, which marked a new level of standardized training for residents in our hospital and entered the ranks of national standardized training bases for residents.

In 2011, our hospital became the first batch of standardized training bases for residents in Zhejiang Province, and in 2014, it became the collaborative base of national standardized training bases for residents. In order to ensure the orderly and smooth development of standardized training for residents, our hospital had formulated and gradually improved the relevant management system and set up a management structure(standardized process management, standardized rotation, standardized teaching, standardized assessment and standardized evaluation). We constantly strengthened the construction of software and hardware and teachers in the base, and undertaked the graduation examination of clinical practical skills for standardized training of residents in stomatology department of Zhejiang Province and the training courses for senior teachers for many times, which were well received. In recent years, the pass rate of graduation examination for standardized training of residents ranked among the top students in the province, and the one-time pass rate of graduation examination in 2019 was 100%. The approval of the national resident standardized training base also confirmed the rapid development of resident standardized training in our hospital.

During the reporting period, the National Health Commission sent an expert group to visit our hospital on site, listened to reports, consulted data, discussed and exchanged, observed teaching, etc., and gave affirmation to the residential training work of our hospital and put forward constructive suggestions. Our hospital would take the opportunity of being selected into the national resident standardized training base, assume our social responsibility, strictly follow the requirements of the national resident standardized training system, conscientiously implement the relevant policies of the national and provincial health and health committees, continue to strengthen the base construction, continuously improve the training quality, and train more excellent dental professionals for the society.
