Teaching and research section of Stomatology was founded

1999

Renamed as Treatment Center on Stomatology, the 2^nd Affiliated Hospital, Wenzhou Medical College and the Division of Stomatology, Wenzhou Medical College

2000

Students were recruited into a five-year program in Stomatology

2002

The School & Hospital of Stomatology was established

2005

Permission was granted for the awarding of a Master's Degree in Stomatology

2007

Stomatology was among the first group of schools in China, qualified to admit foreign students to an undergraduate program in dentistry, with English as the language of instruction

The Guangchang Road Branch started to receive patients

2012

The undergraduate stomatology program received full accreditation from the Ministry of Education of China

The Project of Longwan Headquarter launched

2013

Renamed as School & Hospital of Stomatology, Wenzhou Medical University

Central Lab of Stomatology is elected as Wenzhou Key Laboratory

2014

The major of Stomatology was listed as one of the first batches of Zhejiang characteristics of Emerging Majors (international) establishment

Ouhai Branch started to receive patients

2015

Listed as a Top Ranking Discipline of Zhejiang Colleges and Universities (B)

Stomatology passed the assessment and evaluation by Ministry of Education

Jiangbin Branch started to receive patients
